Model Chapter Awards

Model Chapter Awards are presented annually to recognize TUA chapters that consistently maintain outstanding records of membership inductions, chapter correspondence, service projects, and other criteria associated with being an outstanding chapter. Winning chapters will receive a discounted annual chapter fee for the following year, and will be designated as a Model Chapter on the TUA web site.

All TUA Chapters in good standing are eligible for this award. In order to be a Model Chapter Award winner, the chapter must meet all of the criteria below:

Chapter submitted all annual reports by March 1st.
Chapter has no outstanding debts to the Society.
Chapter voted in Society elections and all other matters submitted to the membership for voting.
Chapter conducted at least one induction during the year.

Submission Procedures:

Chapters do not need to submit an application for the Model Chapter designation. The TUA National Office will verify those chapters who have met the award criteria.  Winning chapters will be eligible to win in subsequent years.
