Keynote Presentation
Fighting for Success: Be EXTRAordinary Presented by Nikki Eplion Bryant

“Fighting for Success: Be EXTRAordinary!” is my own personal story of overcoming unthinkable adversity to becoming successful.   My story is one that captures the entire audience! I’m living proof that the difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do. I want to show people that they can be successful no matter what they’ve been through in life.

About NIkki: Nikki Eplion-Bryant is a highly successful and motivational speaker on overcoming adversity, believing in yourself and fighting for success, quite literally!  Her personal story, “Be EXTRAordinary!  Fighting for Success” has captured the audiences of many Fortune 500 Company sponsored events.  Companies such as Toyota, Lexmark, and several others who share in the ideas of empowering, promoting, and inspiring personal success!

Nikki’s story is one of inspiration, hope and empowerment. From being a homeless, single-mother of 2 young sons to becoming the #1 Super Middleweight Female Boxer in the World, as well as gaining educational and career success; obtaining my Master’s Degree and becoming a college Professor!  Nikki’s story is proof that with enough hard work and the incredible support from unlikely sources, dreams do come true!.. even when everything seemed to be stacked against us.

NOHS 2019 CONFERENCE SERVICE PROJECT

At our 2019 NOHS conference, participants have an opportunity to support our chosen agency dedicated to those in need in California.  Keep reading to learn about Community Action Partnership of Orange County, our chosen non-profit for our 2019 Conference.

Community Action Partnership of Orange County

Since 1964, Community Action Partnership of Orange County has worked to enhance the quality of life in Orange County by eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty. We are a California community based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (FED ID#: 95-2452787).

We have remained true to our mission “to enhance the quality of life within Orange County by eliminating and preventing the causes and effects of poverty by mobilizing and directing resources to programs that assist, educate, and promote self sufficiency.” The staff of Community Action Partnership of Orange County are committed to serving the communities where they work and live. They come from all walks of life rallying to support those in need, ending poverty and building stronger communities. Our agency is celebrating more than 50 years of helping people and changing lives.

How can you help?  CAPOC needs the following items and you can easily provide some of these.  Put in your suitcase/car OR do some shopping in California while you are visiting.  Collection boxes will be at the registration table throughout the conference.

  • Small little Christmas gifts for our Senior Program. It is always really hard to find donations for them during the holidays.
  • Arts and crafts to be used during our senior program and after-school program.
